As an agent, it is the most important that we are clear on what our different types of agency mean, how we create those relationship, what duties we owe to our clients vs our customers, and so on.

In this section we will work through the different types of agency you can offer your clients and our structure for professional fees.

In general, once we have entered into a representation agreement, we owe all of our clients equally the following duties:

• Loyalty
• Obedience
• Disclosure
• Confidentiality
• Reasonable Care
• Accounting

It is important to discuss agency and expectations early and often as you’re growing your relationship with your future clients.
